Davis Kelly, an accomplished Australian professional, brings an impressive three decades of experience in the offshore oil and gas industry. He began his career in 1995 with Attwood Oceanics and has since held key positions at renowned companies such as Serco Forex, Transoceanic, C-Mar UK, Ocean Rig, Blue Whale Offshore PET Ltd, and ARC-Assure Singapore. His work spans a wide array of regions including Las Palmas, Angola, Brazil, the Falkland Islands, the UK, Norway, India, Vietnam, China, Nigeria, Singapore, and Australia, demonstrating a remarkable adaptability and a comprehensive understanding of the diverse challenges and opportunities within the global subsea sector.
Throughout his career, Davis has taken on various roles, including Superintendent/Reliability Engineer, Subsea Well Control Equipment Manager, Subsea Engineer, Senior Subsea Supervisor MUX, and, most recently, Subsea Superintendent. His project experience encompasses critical aspects of subsea engineering, ranging from well control equipment and general MODU project management to complex rig reactivation and mechanical/marine audits. Notably, he has been involved in riser systems design and repair, SPS pre-planning and management, and entire well control system design and planning. Davis's extensive skill set includes proficiency with subsea equipment, such as Ram and Annular BOP systems, connectors, risers, adapters, tensioners, riser spiders, control PODs MUX, telescopic joints, motion compensators, failsafe valves, and choke manifolds.
