With demand for our quality of service and engineers, SUBC has put in place a night-day rotation of Senior Subsea Engineers in the Gulf of Mexico supporting a number of semi-submersible rig and drilling platform operators. In Guyana, we have an additional eight Senior Subsea Engineers supporting multiple 5 and 10 yearly SPS Special Periodic Surveys and OOS Out Of Service period surveys. Rig reactivations are also under our management and control, we have Subsea Project Leads working on multiple rig reactivations in Greece and Brazil.

SUBC has seen its Subsea Engineering division full on in the Gulf of Mexico, in Houston, Pascagoula, and in Guyana in the south. Our maintenance, technical and management based Subsea Engineers have been involved in a number of work-scopes. We have a team of 8 Subsea Engineers performing 20E bolt changeouts on multiple semi-submersible rigs and platforms across the Gulf of Mexico. We have a team of 16 Senior Subsea Engineers supporting a shipyard project in Pascagoula, active in BOP1/BOP2 maintenance, 20E bolt changeout, 20E documentation, and accumulator/stack mounted valve maintenance. Additionally, SUBC have rotational Senior Subsea Engineer field service teams supporting a number of rig assets in Guyana in the south.

The annual Houston tournament that bears her name attracts more than 200 golfers, celebrity athletes, corporate sponsors and their families, with fun for all ages. Proceeds benefit the Children's Neuroblastoma Cancer Foundation, a Chicago-based nonprofit charity that has raised more than $2 million for research, education, awareness and advocacy.

Having a public access defibrillator (PAD) available in an emergency can be life-saving, especially in areas where ambulance response times may be longer. We have learnt that using the defibrillator before an ambulance arrives can significantly increase someone’s chance of survival.

Originally from Perth Australia, and now residing in the south of England, Ralf Mandera is our UK Subsea Manager. He holds bachelor’s degree in Science, and started with the company in 2009, in 2019 he joined our management team as UK Subsea Manager.
A Senior Subsea engineer with 25+ years experience working globally in the Drilling and Subsea Industry, with expertise in BOPs, Control and MPD systems, he has learned the business from the ground up. He started as a Roustabout in the 90s and worked his way through the ranks from Floorman to Assistant Driller to Floating Assistant Subsea Engineer to Senior Subsea Engineer, finally joining SubC Engineering in 2009, and bringing with him a wealth of knowledge and expertise.
Working worldwide, his industry experience is vast, assisting with rig moves, shipyard projects and crew relief assignments including taking the Scarabeo 9 Rig from Singapore to offshore Cuba and operating the new equipment without any assistance from the O.E.M’s due to the Embargo from the US. He has been involved with project work on board the Pacific Meltem, Stena Icemax and Forth amongst others. Some assignments have been teaching MPD, both offshore and onshore, along with API and Client compliance work. Recently he has been a regular on board the Heydar Aliyev in Baku , various Maersk rigs in the North sea and on reactivation work in the Canaries.
